Downloading product CD images

The iMIS 15 product CD image can be downloaded from the ASI Tech Support site. The contents of the CD image are identical to the physical product CD.

When using a CD image instead of a physical CD

In any procedure that calls for the product CD, you can alternatively browse to a folder that contains the extracted CD image. To avoid issues with running installation programs from a remote machine, first map a drive letter to the network location of the extracted CD image, and then browse to the installation program on that drive.

To download and extract the iMIS 15 product CD images

1. Log on to imis.com.

   The iMIS product portal page appears.

2. In the Product Release Info section, select Get Product Releases.

   The Product Release Information page for the current iMIS release appears.

3. In the Get New Releases section, select latest product releases.
4. Log on with your registered ASI account, or create a new account.
5. If prompted to update your profile, select Click here to continue.

   The Choose a Product page appears.

6. Select iMIS 15.
7. Select the most recent version of iMIS that is marked as a Production Release and download the associated self-extracting zip file (for example, iMIS nn.n.n.nnn_Product_CD.exe).

   Double-click the downloaded file to extract the CD image to the following default location: C:\iMIS nn.n.n.nnn Product CD
