For iMIS versions 15.0.1.891 and higher, performance issues surfaced on remotely located iMISPublic servers and/or e-CM ASP.NET sites. Performance degradation occurs when the iMISPublic application server and/or the e-CM server are hosted at a location different from the iMIS database server. In remotely hosted e-CM installations, only servers running the ASP.NET pages themselves are affected.
For best performance, collocate your iMIS database server with the iMISPublic application server and/or the e-CM server. Other configurations are not recommended or supported at this time. Performance improvements are under development for future release.
