The ability to create a custom tab in Customers has been such a hit that we are extending it: administrators can now create multiple custom tabs. This allows each department or group to specify its own custom tab, accessing data from other tables and displaying exactly what they need. As with all Customizer tabs, access keywords can be assigned to each tab for further security.
During creation of each new Custom tab, administrators can specify:
Users can choose to display any custom tabs for which they have permissions. They may also edit the information in a tab if they have editing privileges.
