Ability to define security privileges for Document System folders

You can now define security privileges for folders in the Document System:

• Read control over the folder
  • Can see the folder contents, create new sub-folders, and create new definition objects within that folder
  • Can modify the folder name
  • Can modify the list of definition object types that can be created in that folder
  • Cannot view the Security section of the folder security definition window
• Full Control over the folder
  • All of the preceding Read privileges
  • Can grant/modify the privileges of all roles, groups, or users for that folder in the Security section of the folder security definition window

    Note: When a new folder is created, the Everyone role is granted Full Control by default.

Folder-level privileges are completely independent of object-level privileges, so users who are limited to Read privileges on the folder are prevented from modifying the folder-level privileges but can still create allowed definition objects and even new sub-folders within that folder.
