Process Manager

To better reflect the fact that iMIS process engines are very flexible and can be used to manage process workflows of any type, not just opportunities, iMIS Opportunity Management is now called Process Manager.

Creating and managing projects (which were called "opportunities" in iMIS 10) has been greatly streamlined and enhanced. Significant changes include:

• The Action Plan tab in the Project window has been enhanced to provide easy access to all tasks, notes, and email notifications in any stage of an action plan.
• Project administrators can now restrict each project type to a specific Grant Project Access list of iMIS users who have permission to create projects from that type.
• New queries and views of projects and related projects have been added to improve the information available to a project owner as they work with their contact.
• A project's owner can now see all tasks in the project regardless of who the task is currently assigned to.

Enhancements made to Process Manager in this release are designed to improve and streamline the data entry for all project owners. Process Manager is available to all Full users both through browser and iMIS Desktop views. This permits greater flexibility for project owners to be away from their desks and keep their projects updated.
