Process Manager

To better reflect the fact that iMIS process engines are very flexible and can be used to manage process workflows of any type, not just opportunities, iMIS Opportunity Management is now called Process Manager.

Creating and managing projects (which were called "opportunities" in iMIS 10) has been greatly streamlined and enhanced. Significant changes include:

Enhancements made to Process Manager in this release are designed to improve and streamline the data entry for all project owners. Process Manager is available to all Full users both through browser and iMIS Desktop views. This permits greater flexibility for project owners to be away from their desks and keep their projects updated.

Ability to limit project creation to a specific set of iMIS users

New views and queries of projects, tasks and related projects

Process Manager available in Staff View of iMIS database

Process types are now listed in alphabetical order

All tasks visible to the project's owner

Improved viewing and definition of action plans assigned to a project

Ability to bypass intermediate stages of an action plan
