Desktop security extended to web-based views

What each user can see or do using a web client is now affected by the security privileges defined in the User Access section of their iMIS user record.

You can assign users keyword access, member type restrictions, roles and groups, and authorization levels for various areas. The same security that governs iMIS Desktop also governs the web view, but only as applicable: for example, you cannot successfully add a Casual user to a group in a feature that has no Casual access.

For more information, refer to "Security Administration" in System Setup Reference.
